Ibrahims kids are between seventeen and two years old; the youngest two were born in the camp.

They - a family of 24 in total - had to flee the region due to instability and violence. “We would all like to go back, but there is no military that we can count on to protect us. We wish the Iraqi government would or could do more to help us refugees, but they are too weak - just look at what happened before in our province, our house was set on fire, the neighborhood demolished. There is nothing we could go back to.”

A 30 year old graphic designer living and working in Aida camp, Bethlehem. He works in a cultural centre, creating different art with a laser cutting machine. With some of his colleagues he’s creating a museum in the buildings cellar, which is an old cave.
Turned 20 the day we took this picture, also Christmas day. Ibrahim works in a shawarma place in Ramallah, Palestine. We met him on a rossing though, just after having a birthday lunch in one of the competing restaurants with his friends.
Only 17 years old and photographed in Ramallah, Palestina. He was just getting into a taxi when he heard his name. And so did we.

A 30 year old graphic designer living and working in Aida camp, Bethlehem. He works in a cultural centre, creating different art with a laser cutting machine. With some of his colleagues he’s creating a museum in the buildings cellar, which is an old cave.
Turned 20 the day we took this picture, also Christmas day. Ibrahim works in a shawarma place in Ramallah, Palestine. We met him on a rossing though, just after having a birthday lunch in one of the competing restaurants with his friends.

Lives in Aida camp, Bethlehem since 1948. Inherited his name from his grandfather who, just as himself worked as a welder. The whole family works in the metal industry. Ibrahim stopped working due to a knee injury. He’s the grandfather of 10 year old Ibrahim who also lives in Aida Camp.
33 year old father of Ibrahim who will soon turn 9 years old and is in school when we are invited in for tea by Haitians wife. He works as a private taxi driver and even though they are muslim, they live in a lovely cave-like home in te predominately Christian neighbourhood Beith Jala in Bethlehem.
